Eers is hy Johannesburg toe … geen werk vir ‘n jong vlieënier met min ure! Daarna is hy Maun toe waar hy vir ‘n maand in ‘n tent gebly het en werk gesoek het … geen werk vir ‘n jong vlieënier met min ure! Van daar is hy Namibië toe waar hy uiteindelik begin vlieg het. Na sy opleiding het die werksoekery begin. Geld wat ek op daardie stadium … as enkelouer … moes gaan leen omdat die vliegskool kontant betaal moes word. Ons het die verskillende vliegskole in die land ondersoek en op die ou einde besluit op 43 Airschool in Port Alfred … waar hy dan ook sy Com Pilot lisensie binne 12 maande gekry het R350 000. ![]() 7 het hy besluit hy wil eendag ‘n vlieënier word. My seun het as ‘n klein seuntjie altyd net vliegtuie geteken … groot vliegtuie … passasiersvliegtuie … en in st. Wat presies is aan die gang in die vliegbedryf op die oomblik? Hoekom sukkel ons kinders so om werk te kry? Ek hoop nie ek mors jou tyd met hierdie brief nie … eintlik is dit ‘n hulpkreet … van ‘n ma van ‘n jong vlieënier wat nou al maande sukkel om werk te kry.
